Monday March 3rd 1930 I wrote Nellie, Mattie Stitt and Kate Rowe in AM. gave Mrs Falk check for $20.00. We went to a picture show & Mrs Falk had errands to do. weather cold. Tuesday March 4th 1930 We went down town for Mrs Mitchel & Mrs Garrison then to Daytons. Had lunch and went on to The Beach. I called on Mrs Williams. A delightful day. Were back in DeLand at 4.30. Evening at home. Wednesday March 5th 1930 I wrote Laura and Hattie. We went down town early. I got shoes fixed and bought a suit case. Then to a picture show. Over to the depot to meet the 6.30 train. A Mrs Phelps came to be with The Falks awhile. Letters from Ott, Winnie, Hattie and Ella Nagle. Thursday March 6th 1930 Did some crotcheting and wrote Emma Herriott, Bro Ott, Mrs Searles & Ella Nagle. The Pickens here in PM and I went to town with them. Arranged ticket to go by Louisville, did errands, met several I knot, got my new suit case. Mrs Falk in later to bring me home. Letter from Millie Byington. Friday March 7th 1930 I wrote Hattie, Winnie & Millie Byington. We went to town early in afternoon. I was at RR office to order reservation to Louisville for the 14th. It rained by spells. Mrs Falk & Mrs Phelps to make a call. I waited for them, We got home in time to escape a hard shower.
