Thursday March 13th 1930 I was busy with packing in forenoon. Mrs Falk & Mrs Phelps took me to the depot. I had letters from Hattie, Ella Nagle & Louis Bremner. I went to The Flagler for the night. Did some writing after I had my supper. Letters to Ott Seibert, Mollie Stevens, Birdie Harris, Winnie & Hattie. A beautiful day. Friday March 14th 1930 I left Jacksonville at 8.30. I was in such a nice car. I enjoyed watching the things as we went along. Had supper. I went to bed early. Saturday March 15th 1930 I reached Louisville at 7.40. Went directly to Ella Nagles home. We were out riding in the afternoon with Don Wares daughter and husband. We went to see Don and wife. Evening at home. Wrote Bro Ott. Sunday March 16th 1930 At nine oclock I went to ride with Fred and his wife. a delightful forenoon. After dinner Emma and her husband with myself were taken for a ride across the river to see an old home of one of Wills Aunts. The evening visiting at home. Monday March 17th 1930 After early dinner Ella went with me to the depot. I left at 1.15, reached Cincinnati at 5.50, changed depots and started to Chillicothe at 6.30. Reached there and went directly to Stitts. Letters from Hattie and Laura. She reports Lydia some better.
