Tuesday April 8th 1930 Mrs Goodwin came and we went down to 63rd St to a Union meeting. 600 ladies there. It was an interesting ride both ways. Mrs Goodwin here for supper. Later her son came and took us to a lecture at Orchestra Hall. Very good. A very full day. Letter from Hattie. Wednesday April 9th 1930 Letter from Bro Ott & Mrs Clute. Winnie was busy all AM. We rested after dinner and went to a late show on Madison St "Sarahs Son." Did not get home till late. Later a letter from Mattie Fletcher. Thursday April 10th 1930 I had letter from Mary and Laura. I did not go to Delavan tomorrow. I wrote to her, Emma Herriott, Hattie, Mrs Searles & Mrs Falk. We went out to Glen Ellyn to visit The Clutes. A delightful time. I saw Ruth Bremner. We got home about 9.30. Letter from Ella Nagle. Friday April 11th 1930 A letter from Ida. I wrote to her & Bro Ott. After lunch we went out to LaGrange to see Louie Bremner. It was late when we got home. Evening here. Saturday April 12th 1930 We spent the forenoon at home. Left after early lunch to visit Fields museum. We came home early. I had letter from Mattie Stitt. I wrote Laura to tell her mail had not been sent on. Mr Pittsford called to say The Delavan Chicago diner would not he held till May.
