Sunday April 3th 1930 We were home till late in afternoon. Took a long street car ride. Read a book in the evening. Monday April 14th 1930 We went down to the city after early lunch. Was in the store and went out to see Emma Herriott. A nice call. They have moved to a nice hotel. We came back by street car. We spent the evening at Fred Givens. Tuesday April 15th 1930 It was raining and Winnie came down town with me in a taxi. Mary, Buddy & Hattie met me. I went home with The Byingtons for supper. I found my rooms nicely cleaned. I unpacked most of my things and put them away. A letter here from Mrs Falk. Spent some time with The Gays. Wednesday April 16th 1930 It rained most of the day. Rob came for me at noon. Spent the afternoon visiting with Hattie. Rob brought me home. Letter from Ida. Wrote to her and Winnie. Thursday April 17th 1930 I did some washing in AM. Sewed in afternoon and went up town for things I needed. In evening wrote Mrs Falk, Ann Henslee & LeGrand & Alberta. Friday April 18th 1930 I was busy about the house. Did ironing, wrote Mrs Dinse and sent Mrs Falks letters. Letter from Laura. Lydia about the same. Hattie here in afternoon. I looked over Delavan papers in the evening.
