Saturday May 10th 1930 I went all over the house in AM. After dinner did some washing and put the things in the attic. Then took a nap. Went up town after supper. To bed early. Sunday May 11th 1930 Ott took me to church. Hattie and I went home with him as Mary had a party for William whose birthday was Tuesday. Rev Lylie was at church and sat with us. Hattie stopped here with me. I wrote Winnie. We went to hear Rev Wylie in the evening. The Ensigns brought us home. Monday May 12th 1930 I did ironing and fixed my red dress. Hattie here late in PM. After supper went to a picture show. It is 44 years today Will & I were married. Wednesday May 14th 1930 I was working at things about the house all AM. A letter from Ida, wrote her before noon. I made tatting in PM. Wrote LeGrand and went up town before supper. Weather very chilly for time of year. Tuesday May 13th 1930 I went up town in the morning and got me a black hat. I worked on tatting what time I had. Mary came late in afternoon and took me to The Hutchinsons to a reception. Juliet Hammond entertained with them, very pleasant time. weather cool. Read in evening. Wrote the Brown Girls at Piketon.
