Wednesday May 21st 1930 Still at work on the rug. Had letters from Mrs Wilson, Mrs Pope, Charlie Coddington and Laura. The word from Lydia not very good. I wrote to Mrs Falk, Mrs Wilson, Ben Pittsford, Charlie Coddington, Will & Flora Levagood. The Whetstones called in afternoon. Thursday May 22nd 1930 I worked at the rug all day. Just before supper wrote Ida and took the letter to mail box. I still worked on the rug in the evening. Friday May 23rd 1930 I finished the rug at 3.30 PM. Then cleaned up the house and did some washing. The Byingtons came after supper and I went with them to Whestones. Saturday May 24th 1930 I was busy about the house. Ott here for dinner. I rested after dinner before Hattie & Hattie Miller came. I did some ironing. The girls stayed till later. Tishie was here too. After supper did some packing. Sunday May 25th 1930 Ott came and took me to the train, a nice ride ride to Chicago. I found sister Ida there with Winnie on her way to Granville. Evening visiting. Monday May 26th 1930 We went to the station with Ida. Had lunch down town. Rested after we got home then dressed to go to The Delavan Chicago Club Dinner at The Auditorium Hotel. A delightful time. We got home about eleven oclock.
