Saturday July 5th 1930
Another awful rain this AM. I wrote Lois Simpson
and some checks. Mary took me to Dr Urban and
brought me home again. After supper rode to the
farm with The Gays. Then sat on the porch. very warm.
Sunday July 6th 1930
A very hot day. William here in AM. I did not got to
church. Slept in PM. After supper went to the
cemetery with The Byingtons. Then up to see how Hattie
was (some touch of Ivy poison). Later took a ride to North
L:iberty. Was non the potrcj with The Gays & Gortners later on.
Moinday July 7th 1930
Was busy about the house. Mary came at one oclock
to take me to The Dr. Afte treatment went to Byingtons
in a taxi. Home at 5 oclock. Letter for Millie Byington.
Tuesday July 8th 1930
I went over to the Lydia to vote on interurban
franchise. Hattie here for dinner. Letter from Winnie.
Mary came and we went to a show. Evening on porch.
Wednesday July 9th 1930
Wrote LewGand in AM. Mary took me to the Dr
after dinner. Dr Urban sent me home. I slept awhile.
Spent the evening on the porch.
Thursday June 10th 1930
Mary came we went to get Hattie. We all did
some errands. I spent the rest of the day at Hatties.
After supper went to The Byrd picture show. The
heat intense. On the porch till midnight.
