Friday August 1st 1930 I worked on Hatties rug in AM. Mary took me the doctor & dentist. I got my teeth. We stopped at Means grocery to pay bill and get groceries. warm again. Saturday August 2nd 1930 Busy about the house. Hattie here for lunch. I slept awhile in PM. Evening on the porch. The Gortners are home and The Gays have company. Sunday August 3rd 1930 I frightfully hot day. I went to church with Ott and home with Hattie. Before I came home at ten oclock I phoned Delavan. Laura came to the phone. Lydia was very low. The Dr there then. Monday August 4th 1930 The hottest even last night. No rest at all. I got myself some breakfast. Rob took me to the dentist my teeth are hurting me. I went over to Byingtons in PM. Soon after I got there Laura telephoned Lydia died at 9 oclock this morning. When I came back home at 9.30 I phoned here. I decided I was not able to go over there now. Still very hot. Wrote Winnie & The Levegoods. Tuesday August 5th 1930 Some rain and cooler. I wrote Emma Herriott & Mr Coswell about flowers. Cora took Hattie & me over to Folsoms. Mollie very sick. Hattie stayed there. I wrote Sister Ida and slept in PM. Hattie called at six oclock to say Mollie Folsom died t 2.30.
