Sunday August 17th 1930 Ott brought me over to get ready for church. Late in the afternoon we went up to Hatties and the cemetery. I read and wrote Laura in the evening. William, Mary, & Buddy home at 9.30. Weather cooler. Monday August 18th 1930 Mary brought me home. I stopped to get groceries letter from Mattie Fletcher & Mrs Rhind. William took me up to Hatties in PM. Was out with The Gays after supper. Tuesday August 19th 1930 Did some ironing. Wrote Millie Byington, Mattie Fletcher, & M E Culbertson. Mary went with me in afternoon to get a dress (blue georgette). Evening at Hatties. Rob came for me. Home later. Wednesday August 20th 1930 I changed my new dress a little in forenoon. Spent the afternoon at Lou Hughes with Mrs McElroy doing work on Elder Daughters records. Read all evening. Letters from Winnie & Mrs Falk. Birdie went home today. Thursday August 21st 1930 Had letter from Laura, Flora Levegood, Ella Nagle, and LeGrand. Wrote Winnie, Flora and Laura in AM. Mary took me to Dr Urban. Hattie here till supper time. Read in evening. Friday August 22nd 1930 Hattie left this morning with The Ensigns for Everett Penn. Mary & I went up to say good-bye. I wrote Ida, Birdie, Laura & Emma Herriott. Did some work on Elder Daughters book in PM. Cora came to take me home with her for supper and spend the night.
