Thursday August 28th 1930 I wrote Hattie and Martie in AM. After lunch went by taxi to do some errands and spent PM with Lizzie Duncan. They brought me home. Friday August 29th 1930 Wrote Winnie in AM and read some. Rested in PM. Frank Woolf here in evening. Some rain. Saturday August 30th 1930 The girls went up town in AM. I wrote Birdie, Cora & LeGrand. Had letter from Hattie. Wrote Ida later. After supper The Falkners took us over there to visit. Sunday August 31st 1930 We went to church. Mr Meister came home with us for dinner. Later Harry came and we took Mr Meister home and had a wonderful ride was across the Mackinaw. Callers in the evening. Laura came. Monday September 1st 1930 Harry took Edith & me up town. I was at headquarters and she helping with dinner. Mabel came at noon. Some of us at The Park I afternoon and all at Aromory Hall in evening. Then on up street to see street dance and met friends. Late home. Letter from Ida. Tuesday September 2nd 1930 The girls each had a half days school. Harry & Mabel left for home at nine oclock. The girls went to two funerals in PM. I left for home at 5.15 by way of Peoria. Reached here at 12.20 came directly home and went to bed. Not very tired.
