Wednesday September 3rd 1930 Mrs Gay gave me something for breakfast. I put away all my things and was all forenoon cleaning up the house. I found letters here from Lois Simpson, M E Culbertson, Mrs Clute, Mattie Fletcher. Later had one from Hattie & Mrs Falk. I wrote Laura & Edith as well as Hattie. Did some telephoning was very tired and slept awhile. Ott called at 7 PM. Thursday September 4th 1930 I did some washing in forenoon. Letters from Ida & Mrs Falk. I wrote part of the afternoon about Elder Daughters notes for secretarys book. Was down stairs part of the evening. Friday September 5th 1930 Mary came early to take me up town. I took a treatment and did many errands. I did my ironing in PM and slept awhile. Cora & Marjorie Hartsock here awhile in the evening. Wrote Winnie & Laura after dinner. Saturday September 6th 1930 I wrote Mattie Fletcher and Lois Simpson in the AM and made some grape jelly. Letters from Winnie and Birdie. William took me to Mrs McElroys in PM to work on Elder Daughters books. Sunday September 7th 1930 Ott took me to church. After my dinner I slept a couple of hours. Wrote Cousin Jen & M E Culbertson. I read in evening & went to bed early.
