Friday December 26th 1930 I spent the AM at Hatties. Rob brought me home soon after dinner. More letters here and a package from Winnie. Wrote to her & Laura. Saturday December 27th 1930 I was busy all forenoon cleaning about the rooms. Read some. Then went home with the Byingtons for supper. They brought me back at 7:30. Sunday December 28th 1930 Ott took me to church. Hattie and Cora still in bed most of the time. I wrote Will Work & Joe Williams. Later wrote Belle Murry. Spent evening down stairs. Monday December 29th 1930 I was busy about the house in AM. Mary took me up town. I did errands and after I got home went to Hatties by taxi. Cora still sick. Rob brought me home. Wrote Margie Hartsock. December 30th 1930 A very cold day. Ott here for dinner. I washed the kitchen curtains and put the lists in this book. Read a book. Wednesday December 31, 1930 I did a lot of washing. I had letters from Laura, Mrs Wilson & Martin Patten. Wrote Birdie, Tishie, the two girls and Anna Hedges here to call. I got the sheets down and dried and ironed them before supper. The Gays had a party I was down stairs awhile. Ed & Ada McCallister were here with others. A very cold day. So ends 1930. May we all be through 1931.
