Tuesday May 3rd 1927 Winnie and I met Mrs O'Venchian on The Elevated and we went to The Art Institute till time to have lunch there. Then to The Chicago Theater to hear "Sousa Band" concert. Then in the stores some. Very tired to bed early. Wednesday May 4th 1927 Soon after lunch Winnie & I went out to see Louie Bremner. It was a nice ride. She is quite well. It was six oclock when we got home. I wrote to Fannie. Thursday May 5th 1927 We went out to Austin to a church dinner. Winnie stayed in the afternoon for a programe. I walked on up to McCalls to see Warner. A good visit. He is not able to walk yet. I found Winnie home when I got here. Friday May 6th 1927 I went down town early and had lunch before I went out to Woolfs by Bus. Spent a pleasant afternoon with them. Emma came to the station with me. I came all the way on The Elevated. Winnie out to Austin. Williams birthday. Saturday May 7th 1927 This is Dear Wills birthday. I had a letter from Hattie. We went to a show on Madison St. After supper rode with The Levagoods and they spent the evening here. Sunday May 8th 1927 We went to church. I wrote Hattie & Lydia. Slept awhile. Later The Levagoods came and took us down to Orchestra Hall to church service. It was late when we got home.
