Saturday May 14th 1927 I got my suit case and unpacked my things. Fannie was here a little while with the baby. I wrote Lydia. Birdie started home at ten oclock with a friend in a car. I went down town in a taxi was at the office to talk with Ott. Had a letter from Bess Eavens and wrote to her. Sunday May 15th 1927 Hattie and I went to S S and church in a taxi. The Byingtons brought us home. Wrote Winnie & The Levegoods in PM and took a sleep. In the evening wrote L D L and read. Monday May 16th 1927 The girls both worked in the yard most of the forenoon. I read some and wrote The Woolfs. Lillian doing washing. Rob took me to Fannies in the afternoon. When they came for Ott I came over and home with Rob. Tuesday May 17th 1927 I put in part of the AM looking over pictures in the attic. Wrote Richard Sunderland about the Delavan place. Went down town with Rob to have my hair washed. Saw Gertrude Smith. Called on Mrs Bradway. The girls to a luncheon. Home with Rob. Letter from Ida. Wednesday May 18th 1927 I was in the attic looking over my things in the AM. It rained very hard early in afternoon. Rob took Hattie and me to Missionary meeting at Mrs Edwin Davis. We called on Mrs Wilson. Got car home at Ida Andersons. We heard that "May" who used to be with us died at hospital today.
