Thursday May 19th 1927 I was busy with my own affairs in forenoon and went with The Girls to the green house for plants. After noon went to a meeting over to Mrs Remleys. Rob took Hattie and me to prayer meeting. We walked home. Friday May 20th 1927 I went down town by street car. Was in Otts office. I got flowers for Mays funeral and went to The McGovern Parlors. I got some lunch down town and went to the funeral at 1.30. Stopped to come home from Browns Street on the way from Cemetery. Hattie over the river. I wrote Lydia and Ida. a gloomy day. Saturday May 21st 1927 I was sewing in forenoon. Went to Cedar Rapids with The Byingtons in the afternoon. Very warm. We sat on the porch in evening. A letter from Mrs Falk. Hattie & Cora to a garden party at Mrs George Falks. Sunday May 22nd 1927 Rob took Hattie and me to S S and church. William brought us home. Late in the afternoon Hattie went to Mrs Keagles. It rained some. I wrote Mrs Falk. After supper Rob took me when he went for Hattie. We were at The Church to a nice entertainment and walked home. Monday May 23rd 1927 I sewed some in AM.
