Tuesday May 24th 1927 Hattie and I got some things ready for the rummage sale. Rob took me over to Otts in the afternoon and they brought me home. Letter from Winnie. Wednesday May 25th 1927 Hattie was down all day at the rummage sale. I went down before noon, had lunch down town. I was looking for an apartment and rented one of The Hester Flats on Linn St. Can get possession the first part of June. I was up in Otts office and with Hattie awhile. Rob sent me home in car. Wrote Lydia. Thursday May 26th 1927 Cora took us down town. She and Hattie bought dresses. They went to look at my apartment and like it very much. Hattie to a luncheon and later came over to Otts. I had gone over in a taxi before. We were invited for supper. William brought us home. Letter from Mrs Pickens. Friday May 27th 1927 Home all day, gloomy and cold. Hattie away a little while in afternoon. I had letter from Lydia. I wrote Winnie and "Mays" son at Norton Kansas in PM. Cora took us down town in evening. Went to picture show. Saturday May 28th 1927 We were busy about the house in forenoon. Hattie and I went to Lou Hughes to an Elder Daughters Party. After we came home went down town with Cora. Got napkins for an anniversary present for Fannie and Robs birthday cake. Letter from Emma Davis. Wrote Lydia.
