Saturday October 29th 1927
I was busy about the rooms most of the AM.
Went up town and in Otts office. Hattie phoned
me from The Coldren Home that Ott & Fannie were
coming to take us to Cedar Rapids. I took what I had
for the home when we went for Hattie. Rob had
taken Cora to Cedar Rapids in the AM to go to Minneapolis.
I had supper with Hattie and to my rooms by taxi at ten.
Sunday October 30th 1927
Rob & Hattie drove to Burlington. Ott took me to S S
and church. had dinner at home. It is three years
today since I started back to Delavan when Vene died.
Wrote Winnie & Lydia. Read some. Wrote W B Mc--- in evening.
Monday October 31st 1927
The Baldwins moved out today. I decided I did not
want the front rooms after looking them over. The
Doyles came back. They will take them. Rob came
home last night. Hattie this afternoon by train.
She was here awhile. I was up town twice today.
Tuesday November 1st 1927
Went up town in AM. Mrs Doyle had lunch with me.
They got furniture for their rooms. Hattie here in PM.
Letters from Lydia & L D L. Read in the evening.
Wednesday November 2nd 1927
I went up to The Church about eleven oclock. There
was an all days meeting. Hattie home with me and
we went up to her house in taxi. Rob out of town.
I wrote Betty Boswell. Sent check for birthday.
