The house would be cleared tomorrow. We had supper and went over to Ed McCallisters by street car. They brought us home. Friday December 30th 1927 We went up town for things needed. Hattie was here for dinner. Then she went over to Otts. We out to Aunt Emmas called at Will Andersons on the way. Hattie came later. We had a fine visit. Anna gave us one of her good meals. Home at bed-time by car. Hattie went on home by taxi. weather growing colder. Saturday December 31st 1927 I went with Edith to the depot to take the train home. It was some late. I got me some dinner. Did a little washing and cleaned up the house. Hattie came in the late afternoon and she told me she rather expected to go to Arizona with Fannie. After she went home I went up town for some things. It was frightfully cold. I got my supper and read some So ends another year. There has been some changes in the way I am situated. I might be worse of. I have enjoyed Ediths visit and going about with her so much. I must get busy and interested in things ahead of me now. Started to wrote Edith. Anna Kleim came in for the evening.
