Tuesday February 28th 1928 I slept well, had breakfast and left for DeLand at 9.45. Mrs Falk met me. We were soon out home. After dinner I unpacked and put my things to rights in the little west room up stairs. I wrote a couple of cards. We went down town. I got a birthday card to send to W B Mc---. The second march will be his birth day. Wednesday February 29th 1928 I read Iowa City papers. Wrote Mrs Doyle and Winnie. We went to town in the afternoon, was at a good picture show. a beautiful day. We went back to evening meeting called for Mrs Lowes Thursday March 1st 1928 A beautiful day. Wrote Hattie in forenoon. Took a nap after dinner. Later in the afternoon Mrs Falk had callers. When they had gone we went in after the mail. A letter from Hattie. Fine day. Friday March 2nd 1928 I read some in AM. Took a nap after dinner and then we went down town. Got Mrs Lowe and spent the rest if afternoon at DeLeon Springs. Saturday March 3rd 1928 I wrote Joe Woolf and Will Work in the forenoon and visited with Mrs Falk. I slept awhile after dinner and then we went to town. I stopped at Pickens while Mrs Falk did errands. They had some neighbors here in evening playing cards.
