Tuesday April 24th 1928
I worked at the cleaning most of the day.
Wrote some in evening and finished reading a book.
Wednesday April 25th 1928
Did more with the cleaning. Ott here for dinner.
Letter from Mattie Stitt. I took nap in afternoon, went
to The Library before supper. Wrote Ida in the evening.
Thursday April 26th 1928
I washed all the dishes and cleaned cup-boards,
put up curtains. Went to the grocery after dinner.
Slept awhile in afternoon. Read in the evening.
Friday April 27th 1928
I was busy about the work all forenoon. Ott here
for dinner. I cleaned the kitchen cupboards. Then
slept awhile before I had supper. A card from LeGrand
mailed at Venice Italy.
Saturday April 28th 1928
Was busy about the rooms in AM. Ott here for
dinner. I looked at Iowa apartments in PM. Was
up town for some things. Read in evening. To bed early.
Sunday April 29th 1928
Ott took me to church. Home with him for dinner.
Later to ride. Soon after I got home Rob came and took
me out again. Wrote Mrs E B Mooe & Emma Davis in evening.
Monday April 30th 1928
Ott here for dinner. Mrs Doyle and I to show in PM.
Spent evening out at Aunt Emms. Ott goes to
Des Moines tonight to meet The Girls tomorrow PM.
