Saturday May 12th 1928 I went up town. Hattie & Birdie were here for dinner. Then I took them to a picture show. It is 42 years today since Will & I were married. Read in evening. Sunday May 13th 1928 Ott took me to S S & Church. We took Hattie home. After dinner wrote Lydia and Winnie. Rob came and took me a nice ride. Mailed letters and read a book. Monday May 14th 1928 I worked on my rug most of the day. Mrs Doyle came in for awhile. I slept some. I wrote L D L after supper and sent it by air mail. Tuesday May 15th 1928 I went up town early. Was busy here all the rest of AM. Did some washing. Birdie & Hattie here in afternoon. Ida Anderson some too for a call. The girls stayed for supper and we went to a picture show in evening. A hard shower in PM. I had a letter from Lydia. She tells me Tom McKinstry is dead. Wednesday May 16th 1928 I had letter from Ida and Nellie McCall who told Warner did not feel like writing. Wrote to her and Ida, Lydia, Paul Whetstone & Belle Murry. To the S U I play in evening with Mary. Thursday May 17th 1928 I wrote Warner McCall and Ida Burkett. Worked on my rug most of the day. A shower at 5 oclock. Went to prayer meeting with Andersons. Letter from Mrs Pickens.
