Wednesday June 13th 1928 I was busy about the house and did some sewing. After dinner I wrote Mrs Falk & Joe Williams. Then went to The PO. Hattie here for supper. Read in evening. Thursday June 14th 1928 I was busy with the work all forenoon. After dinner wrote Warner. Later Mary came to take me to Mrs Shields & Ida Andersons reception. At seven oclock Rob took me up to their house. Hattie and I talked over going abroad with Ott & Fannie and decided not to go. Listened to The Convention nominate Hoover. Home by taxi, Anne Kleim in till late bed-time. Changed tables to [set?] [from?] Friday June 15th 1928 Ott was here for me to sign in regard to his passport. I took my fur coat to be stord at "Cohns" and did errands. Was busy about here but wrote Henry Dalzell, Gertrude Mitchell & Mattie Fletcher. Saturday June 16th 1928 Went to town to get things, for one thing a small table for bath room. Was in Otts office. The Rate note paid of. A special delivery from Lydia. They are busy. Mary came and took me to meet Ida. Wrote Lydia & the Levagoods in Maywood, the Whetstones took is to Byingtons. Sunday June 17th 1928 Ott took us to church. Went home with Hattie for dinner. Later Rob took us to ride. We rested and I wrote Mrs Doyle. We visited all evening. It rained more.
