Thursday August 9th 1928 Hattie and I went to Shultz for the day. I came on down town to do errands. Letter from Fannie. Went home in taxi. Rob brought us down to hear the band play. Friday August 10th 1928 I came down with Rob early. William here and we went over to The Gays together. I did some work about the rooms, had lunch at Copper Kettle. Wrote Ida, Mrs Doyle, W B Mc---, Emma Davis & Winnie, had a letter from her. Paid rent till Sept 1st. Saturday August 11th 1928 I washed my dress an came down toen by street car to have my hair washing. Went home with Rob at noon. Rested in PM. Mrs Shultz & Clara here for supper and we listened to Hoover talk from California. They stayed till bed-time. Had letter from Winnie. Sunday August 12th 1928 Rob took me to S S & church. Hattie did not go. The Forneys were to come with Birdie by dinner time which they did. We al had a ride after dinner. They left for home at four oclock. A splendid day. Hattie and I alone in evening. Both to bed early. Monday August 13th 1928 I came down town by street car. Did errands. Letters from Laura & Mrs Doyle. Wrote to them & Winnie. Home by taxi. Hattie to Home Board meeting in PM. Rob took us a ride after supper and left me here at my rooms.
