Tuesday August 14th 1928 Emma came to sew for me. We put in a full day and accomplished so much. Rob & Hattie came for me about nine oclock. I was very tired. Warm again. Letter from Emma Davis. Wednesday August 15th 928 I came down town with Rob. Did some thing about the house. was over to The Gay house and up town. Busy till noon. Went to Hatties in taxi. Rested in PM. William and Mary called. I came down at 8.30 in taxi to pack. Letter from L D L. Very warm. Thursday August 16th 1928 I got up early and had my breakfast. Finished packing. Hattie came in taxi to go to train with me. Mary came later. It was a hot day. Evening with Winnie. Friday August 17th 1928 I did some writing and telephoning . We left after early lunch for Woolfs. To the city by street car and on out by Bus. Found the folks all well. Nice visit. Had supper in the city. To a meeting at Sherman Hotel.
