Saturday August 25th 1928 I did a little writing in forenoon. The Woolfs were here for a visit. They go to Des Moines Tuesday and will take me home. a fine chance. Sunday August 26th 1928 Laura and I went to S S in a taxi. Harry was then to bring us home. a pleasant visit with him. Read the papers. The Fosters called in evening. Monday August 27th 1928 It was a warm day. Edith did washing. I took a nap in PM. Mrs Fachler and daughter here in evening. Did packing after they left. Tuesday August 28th 1928 The girls got up so we had breakfast and was ready when The Woolfs came for me at 5 oclock. It was a wonderful ride home. We reached here at 11.45. I got our dinners up town and they went on. Busy at my rooms in PM. Hattie here in evening. Wrote Lydia. Wednesday August 29th 1928 I went over to see about my rooms. I met Mr Doyle at the door. he was to be here a few hours. The rooms are about ready. Wrote Ida after I got back. Rob came at noon and took me to The Red Ball for dinner. Then left me at their house for PM. The Girls were away. I wrote Cousin Jen, Winnie & W B Mc---. Cora brought me home. I was up town for things needed. Wrote Birdie in evening. shower today.
