Sunday September 9th 1928 Ott took me to S S & Church. Had a good rest in PM. Evening on the porch with Mr & Mrs Gay. Monday September 10th 1928 Did some sewing. Wrote Mrs Doyle & Sophia Woolf. Went up town late in PM. I found the folks in No. 2. They did not want my curtains. Letter from Winnie. Tuesday September 11th 1928 Went over and got my curtains. Washed some in PM. Went up town. Found Hattie & Cora here when I came back. Spent evening with Myra Froth. Wednesday September 12th 1928 Did some ironing. Had letter from Lydia & Edith. Worked on curtains in PM. Ida Anderson called. Cora and Hattie took me home with them for supper. Rob brought me home. Wrote W B Mc--- and sister Ida. Thursday September 13th 1928 I washed more curtains. Had lunch early and went with The Byingtons to Old Settlers. It began to rain some and Hattie & I came to my house with Fannie. Ott stayed on. Later Hattie and & went to picture show & she helped me select two chairs for living room. She went home at supper time with Rob. Friday September 14th 1928 I worked at putting up curtains most of the day. My chairs came and I like them very much. Wrote Joe Woolf. Lydia and Winnie took the letters to the office and up town after supper. Rain last night.
