Saturday September 15th 1928 I went up town early for things needed. Got stuff for kitchen curtains. Hattie was here in PM. I worked on curtains, went up town after supper to get curtain fixtures and some jelly [tumbles?]. It is 44 years today since Bro Rob left us. Sunday September 16th 1928 Ott took me to S S & Church. Hattie came home with me for dinner. At 2.15 we went to the funeral of Jimmie McCallister. Ott was there and we went to the cemetery. Left Hattie at home. After I had supper went to Elmer Andersons for grapes. A fine day. Monday September 17th 1928 I went up town in AM. Bought peaches and jars. I made jelly from the grapes I got last night. Mrs Thomas & Tishie called in PM. Anna Klein spent the evening with me. Letter from Winnie. Tuesday September 18th 1928 I worked with the peaches all forenoon. Mary brought Buddy at noon. I took him for street car ride and kept him till 5 oclock. Mrs Gay with me in evening. Wednesday September 19th 1928 I put up a few more of the peaches and got dressed before twelve oclock to go to Fannies for the second one of their parties. Mary came for me. I enjoyed it very much. Mary brought me home. A letter from Emma Davis. Read in evening.
