Saturday October 6th 1928 I was away with The Whetstones most of the AM. Soon after dinner went to the Cemetery by street car. There most of afternoon. Very tired. After supper took books to Library and got others. Very warm today. Sunday October 7th 1928 Ott took me to church. He was ordained An Elder of the church today. It was communion Sunday. I went home with The Whetstones. At five oclock Hattie and I came to the church by taxi to Vespers. Walked down home. We had supper. She stayed till 9-- Monday October 8th 1928 I was home all day except to take a letter I wrote to Ida to the mail box. Did some sewing. Letters from Winnie and Lydia. Mr & Mrs Gay are away. very warm. Tuesday October 9th 1928 I went up on Brown St by car to get some crab apples. The Byingtons asked me to go in the country in PM, but I spent afternoon sewing. Wednesday October 10th 1928 I did some washing and went up town. I looked about for a stand lamp, was up in Otts office to see about ten dollars I had put away with my watch in his sofa. It was Wills. I put it with more into a lamp. Wrote Mays daughter and Ella Hamilton Nagle and sent picture of their people. Roe to West Liberty with The Whetstones. Cora went with her. Mother is sick. The Gays home today.
