Wednesday March 4th 1925 I began a letter to Warner McCall. But left it to go to lunch. Went on down to the White House Grounds where I had a long wait to see the Presidential party and parade. I was very near President and Mrs Coolidge when they came through the gates to go on the reviewing stand. Le Grand was busy on ambulance duty. Both tired. I finished my letter in the evening. Thursday March 5th 1925 I wrote to Hattie. A couple of the doctors wives came for me and took me to one of their homes for lunch. I met two others there. They brought me home at four oclock. A cloudy day with some rain. Le Grand brought letter from Hattie & Ott. I wrote Lydia. Friday March 6th 1925 I had letter from Lydia. Wrote cousin Jen. Went for lunch and there met Nellie Copeland. Took a ride to The Capitol and found The Senate adjourned. I went on The Station and home. Le Grand out for evening. Saturday March 7th 1925 I spent forenoon in Congressional Library. Back for lunch. Wrote Hattie and rested. Later called on Miss Copeland. Le Grand spent the evening in my room. fine day. Sunday March 8th 1925 I went to the Congregational Church with Miss Copeland. Pres Coolidge attend there. Le Grand and I had a wonderful ride through Arlington after dinner. Supper down town. Then to spend the evening with Walter and Ruby Falk. A delightful day delightfully spent.
