Thursday May 14th 1925 The Whetstones with Birdie were over to spend the day. When Cora & Birdie went home Hattie went to ride with us till time to get Ott. Home all evening to bed early. Friday May 15th 1925 I rode to town with Fannie and on up to Hatties on the street car. She was busy all day with rummage sale. Cora gone to Cedar Rapids. I visited with Birdie till four oclock. Rob took her to dentist and me on home. Saturday May 16th 1925 It rained all night. I wrote Mattie Fletcher in the forenoon. Rob & Hattie came for me late in the afternoon and Rob took us up to Mrs Bonds to a party. I went home with Hattie to stay all night. Rob brought Birdie home from Dr Schencks at supper time, her dentistry done. Sunday May 17th 1925 Hattie & I went to S S. She did not stay to church. I rode home with Ott. Later Rob brought she and Birdie over. William did not come today so Mary went home in the afternoon. After taking her to the station we rode out past Coralville. Wrote to Lizzie Lindley. Fine day. Monday May 18th 1925 I was sewing in forenoon. I rode to town with Fannie early in afternoon. Went out to Hedges and then over to Aunt Emmas and to Ida Andersons. I came home by street car & Bus. Read in the evening. Letter from Lydia. Mr William began painting Otts house today.
