Tuesday October 13th 1925 I worked steady on Lizzies bag today. She had company a Mrs Keister for the day. I spent part of the evening alone reading. Lizzie out with a friend. Wednesday October 14th 1925 I wrote to Fannie and William. Took the letters to mail and went on up town. Lizzie and I went to see "The Ten Commandments" in the afternoon. She did not feel well so went to bed early. I did up the work. Thursday October 15th 1925 I finished Lizzies bag. She had letter from Dorothy. We go to Portland tomorrow. I took mail to the office for Lizzie. Then did some washing for myself. We went to a picture show in afternoon. I wrote Millie Byington. Friday October 16th 1925 I went up town for myself and got my packing done so we sent our suit cases up at two oclock. Lizzie and I started to Portland at four. Had pleasant trip. Mr Colbert met us. The evening at their home. Saturday October 17th 1925 The AM at Colberts. After lunch Dorothy took us down town. I stopped at the store with her husband till she went with Lizzie to The Hospital. When Dorothy came back she and I went to the depot to meet Lizzie and Susan Garrett who I was to take to her home in Boise. The train left at four oclock. We had the drawing room in our car and I had Susans supper brought to her.
