Sunday June 6th 1926 Hattie and I to S S and church. Cora took us and arranged the flowers for Mothers memorial. She and Rob brought us home. After dinner he took us to the Cemetery with the flowers. I rested in the PM and then went over to Otts. Hattie had gone to see Joe Williams and to Baccalaureate sermon. Later she came over to Otts. He had a class dinner. John Helmick and wife here. A delightful time. Rob came for us. Monday June 7th 1926 I was late getting up. Mary brought The Helmicks to call. I rested in PM. Will & Emily here for supper. Fannie went home with them tonight. Ott in Omaha. Tuesday June 8th 1926 Hattie down town most of the forenoon. Rob out of town. I read some. Did some things for myself and rested. Another day of wind. After supper Rob took us for a ride. Was over the river of an errand. Wednesday June 9th 1926 I read some in AM. Hattie to Burlington in PM. I came to stay at Mrs Moores. Then Mary took me over to stay with the baby while she went to a party. Her sister there for supper. Word from LeGrand today says he is to be sent to Stuttgart-Germany. The night at Mrs M---. Thursday June 10th 1926 I went down to Whetstones at two oclock to dress to go to Mary Moores to a party with Cora. A letter from Lydia. It rained some early in the evening. I was at Mrs Moores.
