Tuesday June 29th 1926 I finished my rug by noon. I helped seed cherries after dinner and later William brought the baby to stay with us for the afternoon. They had a party for The Prentiss Girls. Hattie and Rob met Cora at West Liberty in the AM. I came to Mrs Moores after supper. wrote Lydia. Wednesday June 30th 1926 Wrote Birdie. Went down town for lunch. Then called on Helen Louis and Jennie Sterritt. From there to the Presbyterian Church to work. Hattie there. We rode home with Ensigns. I stopped at Mrs Moores. After supper down to Hattie to see The Sheldricks. Letter from Lydia. Thursday July 1st 1926 Wrote Bess Eavens. Went down town for lunch and out to Coralville. I made eight calls. Mrs Moore and I walked down to Hatties. The Sheldricks had gone. The Byingtons have company for Prentiss wedding. Friday July 2nd 1926 I went down town was in Otts office for papers. I got myself a suit case. Was down to Hattie most of PM. Had letters from Winnie, Ott Seibert and Mabel McDougall. Spent the evening with Gertrude Smith. weather sultry. Saturday July 3rd 1926 I was down at Hatties and later we went down town together. I had lunch and went home with Ott. They had a wonderful letter from LeGrand which I copied. They brought me home before supper. Letter from Lydia. Weather very warm.
