Friday December 17th 1926 I packed a box to go to The Boswells & Ida. Soon after dinner Winnie and I went down on Madison St to a fine show. I mailed package. We did some errands. In the evening I wrote Harry Able, Ott Seibert and Dr and Mrs Phillips at Oklahoma City. Saturday December 18th 1926 I wrote Millie Byington in the forenoon and read the papers. After dinner I threaded beads and later Winnie and I went to call at Fred Givens. I did some more writing in the evening. Got cards ready. Sunday December 19th 1926 We went to a Presbyterian church at 16th St. Enjoyed it. It was storming when we came home. I wrote Uncle Jim Ott Seibert, and Mollie Folsom. I went down to the dry store and phoned Mrs George Bremner. We both slept awhile. A rainy evening. I read the papers. Wrote Mrs Falk. Monday December 20th 1926 A letter from Hattie and Mrs Falk in morning mail. I worked on bead bag some and got the last of my cards stamped and ready to go. The ice is all gone. Winnie has a wretched cold. Soon after lunch I went out to McCalls. I spent the afternoon with Warner. He taught me how to play the Victrola and we had music most of the time. It was dark when I got home. Winnie had been out but feels badly. I had a card from Bess Eavens of Los Angeles. Spent the evening reading in a book.
