Monday July 26th 1920 The folks washed. I finished Venes spread. Had letter from Hattie written Saturday with one enclosed from Rob. I wrote to her as well as Tishie Hedges and sister Ida. I slept in afternoon and sat on porch in evening. Tuesday July 27th 1920 I went up town early and after doing a few errands spent the day with Lizzie Duncan. I did not feel well. I met Edith and we came home together. The folks were making jelly and canning beans. Evening on the porch. Wednesday July 28th 1920 I crotcheted some in forenoon and read papers. Edith ironed most of the day. I slept in afternoon. Wrote Alice Condon after I got up. Warm day. On the porch in evening. Thursday July 29th 1920 I did a little mending for the folks in forenoon. Slept in afternoon. Wrote Hattie. Evening on porch. Friday July 30th 1920 I finished the edge for Venes spread and sewed it on. Had letter from Lorie. Hattie and Edith went to Des Moines to ride home with Rob & Cora who have been away on an Auto trip for three weeks. This is Edith Whetstones birthday. Saturday July 31st 1920 Did crotchet work in forenoon. Wrote Lorie and got some other mail ready. A nice little shower in afternoon Edith and I went up town after supper.
