Monday April 3rd 1922 The girls did washing. I walked out to Hedges and was at Fannies too. Hattie & Cora away in PM. I walked to town to meet Gertrude Smith. We went to a picture show together. Rob brought me home. Wrote to Mr Dunlap today. Tuesday April 4th 1922 I was sewing all forenoon. The folks went to ride after dinner. I went to town with Rob later. Was at Dr Smiths office,The Library and to take a treatment. Hattie to church meeting. Rob & Cora away in evening. I was down to Otts awhile. Wednesday April 5th 1922 Was buys in forenoon. Went to Miss Colonys to Aid Society with Orie Spencer. Hattie to Presbyterian aid. weather bad. wrote Joe Woolf. Thursday April 6th 1922 Summer heat today. P E O luncheon here. I went down to stay with Maggie while Fannie came up here. We had a ride with Cora driving. Hattie to picture show in evening. Ott went away this afternoon. Friday April 7th 1922 I was sewing on a dress for myself. Cora to store in PM. I wrote Lydia (letters from her and Lorie). I walked to town and back late in afternoon. Took treatment. Evening at home. Saturday April 8th 1922 I sewed some in forenoon. Was down to Fannies in afternoon. Hattie to town. Home with Rob at supper time. I felt badly all day. Sunday April 9th 1922 There was a frightful wind last night. I went to church with the girls in the morning. We rode awhile in afternoon. The Coralville house looked so pretty. Sheldricks here for supper.
