Monday April 10th 1922 I walked to town at 10.30. Was at Dr Smiths office. He took the bandage from my arm. 15 weeks tomorrow since the first one was put on. I did errands and came home with Rob. Both the girls were away in afternoon. It rained hard. Tuesday April 11th 1922 A cold windy day. I was at home sewing on a dress all day. Down to Fannies in the evening. The girls both in town. Wednesday April 12th 1922 I did mending in forenoon. Hattie away for dinner. Rob brought The Hudson home today. It has been varnished. I rode to town and went to the cemetery. It is forty months today since we took Will there. I took treatment and rode home with Rob. Thursday April 13th 1922 I was sewing in the forenoon. Eleanor letter and about the house. I walked to town and was out to Aunt Emmas. Rob brought me home. Hattie to Old Ladies home. I got a half dozen towels and sewed some till we went to see Jane Eyre in evening. Friday April 14th 1922 I finished the towels and did my washing before dinner. Hattie to town with Cora. Later they came to take us a ride. Maggie & Fannie were along. I wrote Lydia, Aunt Ellen and Cousin Jen. Evening at home. Saturday April 15th 1922 I did some sewing in early forenoon. The girls busy in garret. We all rode to town after dinner. I did some ironing before supper. The folks from other house here for supper and evening. a letter from Lydia says Vene will not go to Oklahoma with me. I wrote William and Mary. I will go alone on Wednesday.
