Sunday May 14th 1922
I was down to Fannies. Mary goes home this afternoon.
Hattie to S S and church. The folks went away in PM. I wrote
to Lizzie Lindley and Mrs Able, and in this book. It rained some.
I went to church with Hattie in evening. was very tired.
Monday May 15th 1922
Cora and Eleanor did washing and Cora & Rob went to
Cedar Rapids in the little car. Hattie to luncheon. I put
in window screens and slept awhile. Lula Towns & husband here all night.
I spent evening with Ott & Fannie. Wrote to Lydia.
Tuesday May 16th 1922
I walked out to Hedges of an errand and it rained
so I did not get back till after dinner. I wrote Cousin Jen.
Hattie away. I wrote to Cousin Jane.
Wednesday May 17th 1922
I talked with the girls in the forenoon. Rode to town
with Rob. He left me at the cemetery. I walked around
a good deal. Came down on car. Rob & Cora up later. Hattie
and Fannie went to Marshalltown for the day. Cora & I met them.
Thursday May 18th 1922
Lula & Cora in town. I was down to see Fannie. Rob took me
out to Aunt Emmas. I walked down town was at Dr Smiths
office. Rode home with the girls. Millie here for the night.
Friday May 19th 1922
Spent forenoon talking with the girls. Hattie and I
went to picture show. When Cora took Lula to town
walked home past Fannies. Hattie & I spent evening
looking over diary for 1911. Letter from Lizzie and Winnie.
