Sunday, February 26, 1865. Thought there was no more religious way of spending the Sabbath than by writing to Mrs Wittenmyer. Arrived at Du Valls Bluff soon after. M. Readily found Mr Fitch and he went with us to see Mr & Mrs L Met Tho Hardenbrooke Pleasant eve at Chaplain L & [but?] at Bible class. To bed early in view of our early journey tomorrow.
