Monday, February 27, 1865. Left the Bluff soon after daylight, & proceeded by rail to L.R. Mr T- did not met us at the depot but we recognized Mr Rudd of Mt P- and he went with us to Charley McD-s store. Mr T- came in while we were there & we were soon deposited in our new quarters. Too tired to do anything, & Mr Thayer kindly arranged the preliminaries.
