Tuesday, February 28, 1865. Went this morning to Camp and saw our old friend Chaplain Hare. It seemed like college days to see and talk with him P.M. to the C.C. Rooms and along the river bank. Eve Dr Lackey called and we soon had the work for the Ladies settled. Mr & Mrs Field the people with whom we board are real old fashioned Methodists & very kind to us.
