Monday, March 13, 1865. At four o clock went to the steamer with a goodly escort of the family from the C.C. Home. It was touching to see Mr E- & Miss J- part. Wonder if any of the rest of us will ever have a lover and be as affectionate as they are. Was really gratified that B- was so sorry to have me leave. I say good by feeling
