Sunday, April 2, 1865. Attended Church at Chatham Square with Mrs Trall, Capt Brown, Dr Turner, & Misses Mary & Sadie Hanford. Mr Waring preached a good sermon. Afternoon conversation not very Sabbath like. Not much time for reading my Bible Spent most of the evening entertaining the children, and did not think it lost. This is dull waiting for one we are so anxious to see. Sempor Spereus!
