Monday, April 10, 1865. Said a sad goodby to Father & Charlie S - Left No 14 forever, and thanked God that the girls are away from there. Though dear ones are there I feel that all our troubles were left behind. Messrs Young & Gilmore traveled with us and were very kind. Talked with Y- and entreated him to become a Christian. A tedious night could not sleep any.
