Sunday, May 14, 1865. Not well, and very dull in the morning To Church with Miss F- & Miss Murdock. Sermon very uninteresting. Too scientific not enough of Christ in it. Evening at Wesley Chapel. Talk by a Quakeress - Mrs Jones. Earnest & devout. Judge K- sat in front of us. Spoke to him. Pleasant to see anyone from home. Saw Secretary H- in the morning. Maj G.B. with him - always clinging to great people. Poor fellow.
