THURSDAY, MAY 25, 1865. Went early to Alexandria. Called on the Med' Director. Not at home. Surgeon Sickles ditto. Went to Slough and took dinner. Then back to Washington. Found the. 14. A.C. passing, & Mrs W & Miss F- giving them coffee crackers & pickles. Evening Misses P & H- left us. Had a nice walk & talk with Miss F-. Mr W talked some time with me & Mrs W- Very little done today.
