WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7, 1865. Hardly able to move about, but very busy helping the girls get ready to leave early tomorrow. Mr Lawrence called in the evening and had a long talk. Packed Mandas trunk and could hardly keep back the tears that it was not my own that I was packing. So much did I feel the need of the rest & quiet of home. Not through till after 12, or asleep till after one.
