Sunday, June 11, 1865. This morning tended an old fashioned Methodist Church. The sermon was earnest and practical, and the amens were most fervent. Stayed at home with Miss F during the evening and read. If I had been well this would have been a most happy day. Not so earnest & devotional as those days I look back on, but still calm and happy.
