Monday, June 19, 1865 Went early to Campbell & Emory [and told the ladies they must go to Alexandria.] home tired out, but had to talk for hours with _ and nothing could be more stupid Perplexities and all about me, but I trust in God and have a good counselor in Mattie. If Mrs W- would only come! This I say over and over. Rain this evening.
