Sunday, June 25, 1865. Too dull and tired to attend morning service. Slept some and read some & before I knew it it was dinner time. P.M went to negro class and felt that they lived nearer God than I did. Till tea time reading my Bible. Mrs. F- & I went to Wesley Chapel with Messrs S & W-. Placed in an uncomfortable position but too careless to be troubled.
